These swabs are easier on the teeth without scraping the gums, our Avanos Dentaswab Oral Swabs are designed to assist the practitioner in providing proper oral care.
Also called Kimvent Ready Care DentaSwab (and formerly manufactured by Halyard Health), this oral swab is not infused with a dentifrice and not infused with any sort of cleaner, but each are packaged all within their own plastic bag to keep them clean, although not sterile, the swabs are sanitized.
Alternatively, if gums need to be cleaned for the user or a patient with no teeth, then the swabs can be used with a bit of cleaning solution to keep them from gum inflammation.
An option for safe oral cleaning for patients who have a tendency of biting down, the swab sticks are sturdy to keep cleaning but will give in and bend if bitten down upon in order to provide some safety for the patient by reducing damage.
