Covidien Copa Hydrophilic Foam Island Dressing
An ultra-soft hydrophilic foam that protects and cushions wounds Kendall (formerly Covidien Copa) Hydrophilic Foam Island Dressing is designed with small pores to decrease the chance of tissue migration or skin maceration into the foam dressing. A gentle adhesive allows for a secure fit to help protect and cushion the wound site.
- Cost effective one-step application
- No tape or secondary dressing needed
- Island is gentle on skin
- Seals exudate into the foam, preventing strike through that causes leakage and encourages cross-contamination.
- Sterile and individually wrapped
Kendall Foam Island Dressing has a polyurethane top sheet for effective strike-through prevention. The foam cushions wounds and traps exudate while protecting skin. COPA Foam Dressings are semi-occlusive allowing the exchange of gases such as oxygen and water vapor. Its soft, flexible nature allows the dressing to conform easily to all body contours. COPA Foam Dressings are non-adherent, making dressing changes easy and comfortable, and specially designed to ventilate the wound, further reducing the risk of skin maceration.
Covidien Hydrophilic Foam Dressings provide an ideal moist environment for a wide variety of wounds.
