Preparation Instructions: For Loaf Pan (Makes 16 - 1/2 inch thick slices):
- Spray aluminum 9x5x3" loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place 2 cups of Thick & Easy Pureed Bread Mix into a large bowl.
- Add 3 cups of cold water to dry mix.
- Rapidly whisk with a wire whip until well combined.
- Immediately pour mixture into prepared pan, using a spatula to smooth the surface. Note: Product must be mixed and poured rapidly, otherwise it becomes too thick to handle.
- Let bread stand for 30 minutes.
- Invert pan onto cutting board. De-mold, slice and serve.
Tip: For easier slicing, dip knife into water before slicing or lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray. For Individual Servings: Using Cliffdale Farms Individual Bread Molds
- Spray molds with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place 2 ounces of prepared mixture into each mold.
- Let bread stand 30 minutes.
- Invert mold onto cutting board. De-mold and serve.
Individual Servings Mixing Guide:
For 12 slices: Combine 1 1/2 cups Thick & Easy Pureed Bread Mix with 2 1/4 cups cold water.
For 8 slices: Combine 1 cup Thick & Easy Pureed Bread Mix with 1 1/2 cups cold water.
For 4 slices: Combine 1/2 cup Thick & Easy Pureed Bread Mix with 3/4 cup cold water.
For 2 slices: Combine 1/4 cup Thick & Easy Pureed Bread Mix with 6 Tablespoons cold water.
Portion Size: 1 slice = 1 ounce = #30 scoop
Shelf Life once prepared: 4 hours at ambient temperature.
